|WELCOME TO SCREECH POETRY MAGAZINE
...which we hope will become a more engaging place to post, critique and enjoy connecting with other poets and writers.
All you need to fill in when signing up is your name and email address, scroll to bottom and submit.
At Screech, anyone can join. We ask each time before posting your own work, you critique at least two other poems. This encourages interaction between members, and is something we hope you will enjoy, rather than view as an obligation. The site is self-funded and is for people who enjoy contributing, so please only join if you are serious in doing so.
Screech is not a vanity site, so there is no competition as such. We do run the odd contest to encourage writers and reviewers, in an attempt to create a bit of a buzz, and these are totally free to enter with prizes in the form of an Amazon voucher (or if you prefer, another online store you just need to let admin know). You will 'never' be asked to contribute to the cost of running the site.
Although some say rhyme is old-fashioned, we love and welcome it, so again if this sounds like you, please join us.
We see many guests looking at our website and would love for them to contribute. We are self-funding and all we ask for in return is to be supported with membership, posting and reviews. We feel poetry is underrated and would really like your help to put it back on the map! Thank you.
If you have as much love for the craft as we do, we will be delighted to meet you.
Occasionally we will share your poems on Facebook. Please pm Lynda Greene, Admin, if you would prefer we did not, although we hope you would see this as a compliment!
EXPLICIT LANGUAGE: please put in your title if you are using explicit language .... not everyone wishes to read it! If you should forget to do so, it will be added for you by admin. Any posts inciting hate crime of any sort will be deleted without notice.

It goes without saying I hope, you should retain a hardcopy of all works posted on site. The site owners cannot be held responsible for loss of works, in the unlikely event, the site crashes. This advice is applicable to any site you may be posting on.[/b]
